Who is Zidane Iqbal?
Zidane Iqbal was born on April 27, 2003 in Manchester. The midfielder has an Iraqi mother and a Pakistani father. In 2012 he joined the youth academy of Manchester United. There he received his first professional contract in 2021. He was regularly in the match selection, but did not play any league matches. He did have a short raid in the group stage of the Champions League.
Because of his origin, Iqbal is also allowed to play for England and Pakistan, but he chose Iraq. He has played three games for the national team so far.
