It is stated that the DEM Party delegation’s rapid visit to political parties after the meeting with İmralı was aimed at eliminating the risk of ‘infection’ of both the state and Abdullah Öcalan’s process. For this reason, it is stated that during the second visit to İmralı or the next meeting, Öcalan will make an open call to both Qandil and the organization’s extensions in Syria, ask them to lay down their weapons, and personally announce that he has abolished the organization.

For this reason, unlike the previous process, ‘Quick and decisive’ steps are being taken, considering that there may be both external influences and attempts within the organization that may provoke the new process.

According to the news in Türkiye Newspaper, AK Party sources said, “The process is progressing with the mind of the state. In a process where the maps in the Middle East will be redefined, Türkiye will of course act quickly. For years, Iran has tried to establish its dominance in the region through Syria. But both the new era in Syria and the new process initiated in Turkey have, in a sense, disrupted Iran’s fiction in the region. Therefore, Iran will not remain idle. The entire administration of Qandil is on the Iranian side. In other words, the PKK was the only armed force left to regain its lost dominance. “By using the PKK, it may launch new moves in Syria through the PYD,” he said.

According to the AK Party, the new process now means a last opportunity for the terrorist organization. In the AK Party lobbies, “They will either lay down their weapons or disappear. Weapons and peace cannot exist at the same time. Because there is no longer any justification for violence. Frankly, in the previous solution process, the state was very tolerant towards the organization so that this process would not be poisoned. But then everyone saw how the organization abused the process. It’s not being done that way this time. The opinion is expressed that “the organization will never be compromised or tolerated.”
