On Friday’s episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, the world’s largest podcast, Rogan criticized Joe Biden’s decision to allow Ukraine to use US-made long-range missiles to hit targets in Russia.
– How can you do that when you’re on your way out? People don’t want you to be there anymore, says Rogan.
– There should be some kind of pause for significant actions that could potentially start World War III, he continues.
Long-range weapons from three countries
Last week, American Atacms robots were used against targets in Russia. The next day British Storm Shadows were launched. Russia has responded to the attacks by firing a new medium-range intercontinental ballistic missile at eastern Ukraine.
This weekend, French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot stated that there are no “red lines” when it comes to aid to Ukraine in an interview with BBC – and ruled that Ukraine is now also allowed to fire French long-range weapons at Russia.
Joe Rogan, who supported Donald Trump in the days before the presidential election in the United States, is harsh in his rhetoric against the Ukrainian president.
– Zelensky says that Putin is terrified. Fuck you. You people are about to start World War III.
Ukrainian response: Russian propaganda
Joe Rogan’s statement has been widely circulated on social media over the weekend – and has been met with both anger and criticism.
Wladimir Klitchsko, former world boxing champion and brother of the mayor of Kyiv, has responded to the profile in a video he shared on Xwhich has been viewed more than five million times.
– You repeat Russian propaganda. Putin’s Russia has problems, so they want to scare you and people like you. His war would last for three days. It has been going on for three years, thanks to the heroism of us Ukrainians, says Klitchsko.
– Putin’s Russia wants to destroy Ukraine in silence. They want America to remain quiet, not grand. A great United States is not a United States that abandons countries that defend freedom with their lives.
