As Ukraine prepares for a possible counterattack, the country’s president has visited Italy, Germany and France within a few days to meet with the state leadership.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi will meet the British Prime Minister in London today Rishi Sun too.
According to Zelenskyi, the statesmen will discuss British military aid to Ukraine.

This is already the fourth European country that Zelenskyi will visit within a few days.

Ukraine needs weapons
Zelenskyi is visiting European capitals at the same time as Ukraine is preparing for a possible counterattack.
French President Macron and Zelenskyi talked for about three hours on Sunday at the Élysée Palace. After the meeting, the French president’s office announced that the country will give Ukraine dozens of light tanks and armored vehicles “in the coming weeks”.

The visit took place a day after the German government announced a new arms package worth 2.7 billion euros to Ukraine.
On Saturday, Zelenskyi met with Pope Francis and the Prime Minister of Italy by Giorgia Meloni in Rome.
