Zelenskyi praises the role of the Nordic countries as a

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi will meet the leaders of the Nordic countries in Iceland on Tuesday.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi said on Sunday in his video message that cooperation with Northern Europe will accelerate this week and that will help increase pressure on Russia.

– They [Pohjoismaat] understand that it is necessary to create problems for the aggressor so that Russia loses the opportunity to ruin the world, Zelenskyi said news agency Reuters by.

The NATO countries Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Iceland have been staunch supporters of Ukraine in Ukraine’s battles against the Russian invasion.

President Zelenskyi said in May that the Nordic countries’ joint military aid will total six billion euros this year.

Zelenskyi will meet the leaders of the Nordic countries on Tuesday in Reykjavik, Iceland.

He participates as a guest speaker in the Nordic Council session and meets the Nordic Prime Ministers. Zelenskyi and the prime ministers hold bilateral meetings and a joint press conference.

The prime minister from Finland will participate in the Nordic Council meeting Petteri Orpo (collective), Minister of Education responsible for Nordic cooperation Anders Adlercreutz (r.) and Minister of Science and Culture Sari Multala (collect.).

The Nordic Council session will be held in Reykjavík on 28-31. October
