President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi says that the security guarantees given to Ukraine to end the war will only be effective if they are given by the United States.
Zelenskyi spoke about the subject in an American way by Lex Fridman on the podcast.
The president of Ukraine also praised the future president of the United States Donald Trumpwho has vowed to end the war quickly. However, Trump has not explained in more detail how he intends to end the war.
According to Zelensky, Ukrainians trust Trump that he will force Russia to agree on permanent peace. Zelenskyi also expressed his willingness to meet with Trump immediately after the inauguration.
