Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived in Hiroshima to participate in the G7 meeting. Zelenskyj traveled nearly 900 miles on a French military plane from Saudi Arabia where he participated in the Arab League summit in Jeddah.
“Today, peace comes closer,” writes the president on Twitter.
In Japan, Zelenskyy will meet the leaders of the G7 to seek continued military support for the impending counter-offensive at home.
According to information, Zelenskyj will participate in two separate meetings on Sunday, which will, among other things, be about “peace and stability”.
