Prime Minister Morrison made a statement regarding the sending of Australian-made armored military vehicles called Bushmaster, which President Zelenskiy requested in his speech to the Australian Parliament via teleconference yesterday.
Explaining that they will comply with President Zelenskiy’s request, Morrison said that Australian-made armored Bushmaster vehicles used to transport military units will be sent to Ukraine by air.
“WE DON’T JUST SEND OUR PRAYERS”
However, Morrison, who did not explain how many Bushmaster vehicles will be sent and when they will land in which European country, “We are not just sending our prayers, we are sending our weapons, ammunition, humanitarian aid, armored vehicles, all of these.” used the phrases.
ZELENSKIY REQUESTED AN ARMORED VEHICLE FROM AUSTRALIA
Addressing MPs and senators in the Australian House of Representatives, where Prime Minister Morison and the main opposition Anthony Albanese were present, President Zelenskiy said, “Most of all, we do not arm those who fight against this evil.”
Stating that they need armored vehicles in the war with Russia, Zelenskiy said, “You have very good armored personnel vehicles, Bushmasters, that can help Ukraine significantly. We would be very grateful if you have the opportunity to share this with us.” He requested an armored vehicle.
