Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made a statement following his meeting with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in Washington DC, the capital of the United States.

“I had a productive meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. I am grateful to him for his unwavering support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. President Erdoğan drew attention to Ukraine’s efforts to return our people to their homes. He particularly appreciated the return of the Crimean Tatars and expressed his gratitude for these efforts. I assured him that our team will continue this work. We are preparing to hold a conference in Turkey focused on food security and freedom of navigation as part of the implementation of the Peace Summit decisions,” Zelenskyy said.
