Making a statement on his official Telegram account, Zelenski said, “Dmytro 13 years old from Kharkiv, Lisa 4 years old from Vinnytsia, Serhii just 2 days old from Novosolone. They were among 500 innocent children whose lives were ruined by Russia’s attack. Many of them could have been famous academics, artists, sports champions. It could have contributed to the history of Ukraine. “They have become victims of the enemy’s missiles and their hatred, these missiles continue to take the lives of young Ukrainians,” he said.
“IMPOSSIBLE TO DETECT THE NUMBER OF INJURED CHILDREN”
Stating that it is not possible to determine the total number of children injured due to war-related reasons, Zelenski said, “It is still not possible to determine the exact number of children injured due to active conflicts and the temporary occupation of part of Ukraine’s lands. We must resist and win this war. All of Ukraine, all of our people, all of our children must be freed from Russian terror,” he said. (DHA)
