Zeist wants to accommodate 300 Ukrainians at a recreation park

Half of the Dijnselburg recreation park is owned by the municipality and the other half is owned by project developer Bouwfonds Area Development (BPD). The land of the municipality is still undeveloped. There are more than a hundred chalets, three houses and several outbuildings on the BPD site. In consultation with the owner and operator of the recreation park, Achterberg Groep, agreements have been made about the three-year reception of Ukrainian refugees. BPD is prepared to extend the right of superficies with the operator by three years, on condition that a joint feasibility study is carried out into flex homes at this location.
