Zecira Musovic’s beautiful tribute to her opponent says it all about her big heart: “She deserves it”

Both play everyday at Chelsea and Musovic is full of admiration for Australia’s biggest star. Now she pays tribute to Kerr in the most beautiful way before meeting each other.
– Of course it will be fun. In the semi-final against England, I was so incredibly happy to see Sam score. I would have liked her to have scored one more goal. I know how much she fights every day and I know what a great player, and above all person, she is. She really deserves all the best, says the Swede to SVT Sport.
– But then when we are pitted against each other, it is an opponent. I will do everything so that she will not score any goals against me.

Chasing WC bronze

For Sweden, there is the possibility of winning the second straight WC bronze on the women’s side. Four years ago, Musovic was the second goalkeeper when the WC bronze was salvaged, but now she will most likely be given the responsibility between the posts to bring home another medal for Sweden.

There is no mistaking the motivation when she promises to do everything to win the bronze medal match against Australia on Saturday.
– I think we have had a fantastic tournament so far. We have grown into the tournament and shown that we are still among the top. We are heading out against Spain, but it would have felt incredibly good to finish the championship with a medal and be received by the Swedish people. If it’s something you’ve felt from home, it’s really the fantastic support from home, says the goalkeeper in the interview.
