This unusual sight met residents of South Korea’s capital, Seoul. The zebra had managed to escape from a zoo. The young stallion is named Sero and was born at the Childrens Grand Park zoo. But for three hours he got a taste of freedom before police and emergency personnel surrounded him – inside a residential block. The zebra was finally put to sleep with an anesthetic dart. It is unclear how it managed to escape, but there were reports that it had destroyed a wooden fence and got out that way. The adventure ended with the zebra being brought back to the zoo.
