(Finance) – “Municipalities are the first point of contact with people and, thanks to the many initiatives undertaken in the territories in various fields, they have the unique ability to intercept the needs of communities and translate them into concrete policies”. This was stated by the Minister for Public Administration, Paolo Zangrillo, speaking at the Congressional Assembly of ANCI Piedmont which this morning in Novara elected Davide Gilardino as new president.
“In the processes of change in our citiesand in the promotion of values such as sociability and coexistence, Municipalities are key players. These are arduous tasks to say the least, if we only consider the era in which we live, characterized by an incessant succession of great demographic, economic and social changes – added Zangrillo – Fundamental bodies in the administration of the territory, it is here that the sense of citizenship and democratic participation becomes real and virtual. For this reason I feel the duty to express gratitude and gratitude for the continuous, incessant commitment, very often at the limit of the forces that the mayors, together with all the administrators, place daily at the service of the communities”
