Currently in Ibiza, Zac Efron was hospitalized on Friday, August 2 in the evening after being pulled out of the water of a swimming pool by two employees of the villa, reveals the tabloid TMZThe 36-year-old actor was transferred to the hospital “as a precautionary measure,” according to a representative, interviewed by TMZ. The High School Musical star is said to be doing well and was released from the hospital the following morning.
Zac Efron’s rep said it was just a “minor swimming incident” without providing further details on what happened to the actor in the pool. On August 5, the actor gave some news that reassured his fans. In his Instagram story, he is seen working out with a simple message: “Happy and healthy. Thank you for all the wishes.”
Earlier this week, the actor was spotted on stage with DJ Martin Garrix in Ibiza, partying with him. The actor has recently appeared in several projects, including The Iron Claw (with Jeremy Allen White), Ricky Stanicky, and A Family Affair with Nicole Kidman and Joey King.
