American actor Zac Efron was taken to hospital in Spain on Friday, August 2, after suffering an accident in a swimming pool.

Currently in Ibiza, Zac Efron was hospitalized on Friday, August 2 in the evening after being pulled out of the water of a swimming pool by two employees of the villa, reveals the tabloid TMZThe 36-year-old actor was transferred to the hospital “as a precautionary measure,” according to a representative, interviewed by TMZ. The High School Musical star is said to be doing well and was released from the hospital the following day.
Zac Efron’s rep said it was just a “minor swimming incident” without providing further details on what happened to the actor in the pool. Earlier this week, the actor was spotted on stage with DJ Martin Garrix in Ibiza, partying with him. The actor has recently appeared in several projects, including The Iron Claw (with Jeremy Allen White), Ricky Stanicky, and A Family Affair with Nicole Kidman and Joey King. On July 26, he made a stop in Paris, taking in the opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympic Games.
A hospital stay in 2019
