Utrecht – The Yuverta vmbo is closing a location of the school in Utrecht and one in Montfoort today after a threat that a shooting might take place. The threat is circulating on social media. Parents have been informed by email that there are no classes today. Frank van Hout, regional director of the school, writes in the message to the parents: “Although we consider the chance of a violent incident to be small, we are closing our school as a precaution. The police are investigating further.” At a location in Montfoort, classes were halted and students were allowed to go home if their parents agreed.
