Are loot boxes as perfect sources of income? For YouTubers and streamers, making big bucks with CS:GO skins sometimes looks very easy. The chance of valuable items is only small, as a CS:GO player showed.
Also, the viewers of such videos often do not know how much money the YouTuber or streamer has spent in advance to get the items.
CS:GO loot boxes work in a similar way to gambling. The player has to invest money in order to get a higher winning amount than he had previously spent with a lot of luck. This can also go horribly wrong. In the end, the losses are often greater than the profits from the sales.
