YouTuber for EA FC 25 reveals how many viewers he needs to earn 2,000 euros just from gaming

In a stream, well-known German YouTubers spoke to EA FC 25 about their achievements. They provided information about how many clicks they needed for their videos in order to earn 2,000 euros in one fell swoop.

Which YouTubers are we talking about? Simon “GamerBrother” Schildgen and “Tisi Schubech”, consisting of Timo Schulz and Simon Bechtold, are among the best-known streamers for EA FC 25 in Germany.

The streamers’ main channels have a total of 2 million subscribers on YouTube (GamerBrother with 1.11 million and Tisi Schubech with 944,000 subscriptions). On their accounts they produce content about EA FC every week, including vlogs about stadium visits and more.

Tisi Schubech uploaded a compilation to her Streamhighlight account. In this they name several videos with which they would have earned around 2000 euros.

How many spectators do you need for 2000 euros? GamerBrother stated that he was able to generate 300,000 views with a stadium vlog for the Schalke 04 game against Eintracht Braunschweig, which he uploaded to his second channel “Broski” on YouTube. According to his own statements, he would have earned 2,100 euros with this.

Another video about the career mode in FC 24, however, only achieved 170,000 views. But he also received 2,000 euros for this.

Why do you get the same money for fewer viewers? This is due to the different running times of the videos. With a running time of 2 hours and 13 minutes, the career video mentioned is over 90 minutes longer than the vlog about the visit to the Schalke stadium (33 minutes).

Longer videos bring more money, but also more work

Why do longer videos make more money? According to streamers, this can be explained by the RPM value. This is the revenue per mille. This value defines how much money YouTubers earn per 1,000 clicks from, for example, advertising.

What is RPM exactly? The revenue per 1,000 video views (Revenue per Mille, CPM) shows how much money you have earned. It relies on various revenue streams such as ads, channel memberships, YouTube Premium revenue, Super Chat, and Super Stickers. (via support.google.com)

To put it simply, advertising partners could place more advertising in longer videos and that would have a positive effect on the RPM.

But 2 hours and 13 minutes is not just working time. GamerBrother’s career videos serve as a good example of how much effort goes into such videos.

How long does the YouTuber gamble for 2000 euros? Since GamerBrother now streams on Twitch and only uploads compilations of career highlights to YouTube, we looked at old career streams from FIFA 21 on YouTube.

The videos range in length from 4 hours and 30 minutes to 7 hours and 30 minutes. This means that the highlight videos, if at all, only reflect a third of the actual playing time.

Nevertheless, it must be noted that the hourly wage for streamers is over 400 euros for 7 hours and 30 minutes for 2000 euros. Many people would certainly like to trade places with them.

In order to achieve such high viewer numbers, YouTubers had to produce many such videos over a long period of time for no or far less income. GamerBrother has been a content creator since 2012 and Tisi Schubech since 2013. Only recently, the streamer friends had to defend themselves against harsh accusations: YouTuber claims that the two largest German Twitch streamers for EA FC 25 buy clicks from India
