For weeks there has been a controversy surrounding the biggest reaction YouTuber SSSniperwolf (31). Many creators in the USA called for her to be banned, even the German Rezo featured her in a video and ultimately YouTube cut off her money.

Why is she in trouble right now? The YouTuber has been sharply criticized by a colleague for a few weeks: The YouTuber jacksfilms accused her of not really reacting to videos, but of “content stealing”: uploading other people’s videos, but not doing enough of her own in the reactions thereby offering “transformative content”.
She initially reacted to this criticism with rejection: She said that the guy was obsessed with her, that all his content was about her, and that he made his money by criticizing her. She feels harassed on her part.
Ultimately, however, she proceeded in a way that the critic and large parts of the public themselves perceived as “harassment”: because she showed up in front of her critic’s house, asked him to have a conversation and broadcast it live on Instagram, to her 6th birthday Millions of followers.
How did the anger manifest itself? Half of the YouTube celebrities in the USA have dealt with SSSniperwolf, criticized them for their behavior (via YouTube) and called on the YouTube platform to intervene here.
The general accusation was that she had violated the unwritten law of “bringing the Internet into the real world” by showing up in front of the YouTuber’s house. Their behavior was considered “doxxing.”
The case was so big that even the notorious CDU destroyer Rezo addressed it in a video in German that has now garnered over 330,000 views. In the video, Rezo explains that the YouTuber has always stood out for her inability to take criticism and that the behavior that is now so dramatic became apparent early on.
This was YouTube’s reaction: After much begging and scolding from the creators, YouTube decided to demonetize the content of their channel: SSSniperwolf no longer received any money for her millions of views and her enormous reach.
SSSniperwolf responded by simply publishing their videos on a second channel, but YouTube also took action against this and announced that all of their channels had been de-montarized due to doxxing.
She violated Creator Responsible Conduct Guidelines by endangering the personal safety of others.
This is the reaction now: SSSniperwolf has now announced on Instagram that she is retiring and deactivating the comment function on social media.
Her “mental health” had deteriorated rapidly. She will now take time to reflect and focus on her mental health.
