Youths face charges after spray painting spree in Langton

Two 14-year-old Norfolk residents are facing charges after damage was done to several properties including a church and two cemeteries in the Langton area.

Norfolk OPP said an investigation began after religious statues were spray-painted outside Sacred Heart Church on Albert Street sometime between 11 am and noon on May 16. A sign at the rear of the property was also sprayed with paint.

Police also investigated damage done to two schools and the arena in the community.

The two teens have been charged with mischief and mischief to religious property.
