A 12-year-old is charged with four counts of assault, assault causing bodily harm by chocking and mischief after an incident at a school in Forest.

Lambton OPP said they were called Thursday to a school on MacDonald Street in Forest at about 1:20 p.m.
Kinnwood Central public school is located at 63 MacDonald St. but neither Lambton OPP nor the Lambton-Kent District school board would confirm the incident happened at the school.
“There were no serious injuries reported,” police said in a news release.
The youth, whose identity is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, was released from custody with a court date.
A spokesperson for the school board said it was unable to provide more details about the incident because of the police investigation.
“The safety of our students, staff and school families is paramount, and we work with our community partners to ensure that safety,” Caress Lee said.

Lambton Shores resident charged with assault, uttering death threats
A 62-year-old Lambton Shores resident is charged with assault with a weapon, assault and uttering death threats after a disturbance around 9 pm Monday on Arkona Road in Lambton Shores.
“There were no reported injuries,” police said.

Youth, 15, charged with assault: OPP
A youth has been charged with assault after a disturbance in Parkhill, police say.
Ontario Provincial Police in Middlesex County say officers were called to Main Street in Parkhill, located in North Middlesex, at about 11:30 am on Tuesday.
A 15-year-old was taken into custody without incident and charged with assault, police said, adding that there were no serious injuries.
The youth has been released from custody and will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice at a future date, police said. The teen’s identity cannot be made public under the provisions of Canada’s Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Woman assaulted in clash, man charged
A 62-year-old man is charged after a woman was assaulted in a domestic dispute.
An argument escalated in the area of St. Clair Street in Chatham around 10 pm Sunday, Chatham-Kent police said.
A woman was pushed into a wall and thrown to the ground.
The Chatham man was released with conditions and a short date.
