You’re probably paying too much for your Netflix subscription, here’s how to reduce your bill

Youre probably paying too much for your Netflix subscription heres

Many Netflix subscribers have an expensive subscription with options they can’t even use.

Netflix has enjoyed great popularity in France since its launch almost ten years ago. The on-demand film and series platform is still the benchmark in its field and continues to multiply releases to satisfy its subscribers.

But it’s likely that many users are paying way too much for their Netflix subscription, especially when you look at the options available under the different plans on offer.

Netflix’s most expensive offer is called the “premium package” and is very popular thanks to its ability to use the same account on four different devices simultaneously and six devices for downloading. But this premium offer, which costs 19.99 euros per month, also has the best display quality for your content with 4K HDR resolution for very high-quality images when you enjoy Netflix. This resolution allows you to display up to 8 million pixels on a screen and therefore display multiple details when you watch your content on Netflix.

However, to take advantage of a premium offer with 4K HDR resolution, you must have a device that supports this display technology! To find out if your computer has such compatibility, you should go to the display settings and check if the resolution of 3840×2160 pixels is available. This is the resolution specific to Ultra HD. For a television, it must necessarily have an HDMI 2.0 port if it is compatible with 4K HDR quality. The easiest thing to do is to consult the box of your model or check on the internet if it has a logo or a “4K” mention displayed.

As you can see, paying for Netflix’s most expensive plan without having a 4K-compatible device is not very interesting. People who don’t have such a screen would be much better off switching to the standard offer at €13.99 per month, which will save them more than €72 per year!
