Eight out of ten pensioners will have more money in their wallets next year, when several forms of pensions are increased at the turn of the year.
It has already been clear that the income pension will be increased by 1 percent next year. This means that a pensioner with SEK 15,000 in general pension will get SEK 150 more in their wallet every month next year.

This is how the guaranteed pension will be in 2024
The guarantee pension is also increased with the change in the price base amount, which is 9.1 percent. This means that from 1 January 2024 it will be increased by around SEK 1,000 per month for those who are unmarried, and SEK 880 for those who are married.

The premium pension in 2024
According to the Pensions Authority’s calculations presented on Thursday, the premium pension will also be an addition in 2024.
– Next year, the premium pension will contribute a plus to the total pension for the vast majority, says Linda Wieseanalyst at the Swedish Pensions Agency.
Persons born in 1938 or later are covered by the premium pension. The premium pension changes by -3.9 – 14.5 percent, which corresponds to -26 kroner to 218 kroner a month before tax.
Exactly how much it will be depends on how the funds performed during the year, and the majority have developed positively.

What will the pension be like in 2024?
