Your phone’s battery will last twice as long if you turn off this unnecessary feature

Your phones battery will last twice as long if you

Is your phone draining quickly? Sometimes it’s because of functions that you don’t use. Just deactivate them, it’s simple.

Smartphones have become an indispensable part of our lives. We no longer carry wallets or watches because everything we need on a daily basis is in our phone. Unfortunately, these devices have the particularity that certain options are activated independently of the user. The phone regularly sends queries to almost all installed apps, checking if it can send notifications. All of these actions consume a significant amount of battery power. We explain how to deactivate them.

Device Sharing via Google Bluetooth – Google apps are constantly scanning your surroundings for opportunities to connect to other devices via Bluetooth. We don’t use this feature often, if ever. If you want to deactivate it, look in Settings for the “Google” tab. Next, click “nearby sharing” and uncheck everything you find there. After unchecking, go back to the previous tab, click “devices” and deselect the “show notifications” option. This will cause the phone to stop scanning the environment for other devices it could connect with.

Printer Scanning – Yes, that’s right. Your phone is probably constantly scanning your surroundings for a printer. To change this, go to settings and type “printing” into the search engine. Choose the “print” or “printer” option, then click “default print service.” A window should open with an option to disable this service. Uncheck it, and the battery won’t drain as quickly.

It helps to optimize notifications. How to do ? Go back to your phone settings. Type “notifications” in the search bar and choose that option. Keep only the ones that are important to you and uncheck the others. Your phone’s battery will now be in much better condition!
