At 02.03 a call was received to the police that a person is missing in Tandådalen in Dalarna. Barely an hour later, the police decided to start a mountain rescue.
– It is the friend of the woman who called in the call during the night, says Anders Dalman, at the police in Bergslagen.
Believed to have stepped off the bus
According to the police, the person appears to have gotten off a bus in the area and then disappeared.
Several patrols, including mountain rescuers, are searching for the woman, who is described as being 18 years old. According to Dalman, they work with mobile positioning to define the search area and search around the bus stop.
It is not yet known if the young woman lives in the area or not.
