Young woman found dead in Ystad

A woman in her 20s has been found dead in a home in Ystad. The police received the alarm shortly before 6pm on Christmas Day after ambulance services were called to an address.

– The classification is murder until we have come up with something else. Or until we can dismiss crime. Because we don’t know, that criminal classification remains. We don’t want to miss anything in our investigations, but to be thorough here, says police spokesperson Fredrik Bratt.

Relatives of the deceased have been notified.
