A woman in her 20s was assaulted by several men outdoors in central Luleå, during the night towards Sunday, according to Per Rönngren, officer at the police’s regional command center Nord. Initial information indicates that there were four men involved.
The woman must have managed to break free and leave the place and alerted. The incident is classified as an attempted rape.
The woman should not have had to seek medical care. Just before four o’clock, no one was suspected or arrested in the case.
