Four young people who were charged with preparing to murder relatives of a drug dealer in the Malmö district of Limhamn are acquitted by the district court, writes Sydsvenskan.

It was at the end of August last year that two 15-year-old boys were allegedly hired to carry out a shooting, but the arrest of a 19-year-old man put an end to the plans.

The two boys, the 19-year-old and a man in his 20s, were charged with preparation for murder and aggravated weapons offences.

According to the prosecutor, the young men had received instructions on what to do via a tablet with an encrypted chat program. They in turn engaged the two 15-year-olds to carry out the mission and provided them with a semi-automatic pistol and ammunition.

However, the district court does not consider it proven that the accused persons can be linked to the aliases that participated in the chat with the murder plan and acquits everyone.
