A 22-year-old woman in Blekinge is charged with serious abuse of her little daughter, reports SVT News Blekinge. She was arrested in September after a video circulated on social media purporting to show the woman abusing the girl. In connection with the arrest, the child was taken into custody.
According to the indictment, the woman repeatedly hit, pushed and threw objects at the three-year-old girl. The woman is charged with aggravated assault, assault and molestation.
Prosecutor Anna Johansson Toresten has previously told TT that the woman herself admitted assault in twelve cases.
