On the night of October 8 last year, a badly injured man in his 30s was found outdoors in the Mariehem district in Umeå. The man later died of his injuries, which according to the police were inflicted with some form of affront.
This week, two men in their 20s were arrested and detained on probable cause for the murder, Västerbottens-Kuriren reports.
The police have previously stated to the newspaper that they know that the victim was subjected to violence from two people.
During the course of the investigation, a number of people have been detained on suspicion of involvement in the murder, but all have been released. According to VK, several of them come from the same place outside Umeå.
