The police were alerted to a shooting in Brandbergen in Haninge just after one o’clock. At the scene, a man aged 25 was found with a gunshot wound.
It is currently unclear how badly injured the man is – but he is said to have been conscious when he was taken to hospital by ambulance.
The police had received information that two younger men fled in a taxi and a little over half an hour later, two suspects were arrested in northern Stockholm.
– We are fairly certain that it is the people in the taxi that we are looking for, says police spokesperson Mats Eriksson to TT.
The taxi in which the arrested persons traveled has been seized for technical examination.
– Additional people have been brought in for questioning, says Eriksson.
