A young dentist in Östergötland loses his license after being deemed “grossly incompetent” by the Health Care Accountability Board (HSAN). The board also assesses that he has major knowledge gaps.
According to P4 Västmanland, the dentist extracted nine teeth on a patient in Västerås without having properly examined with X-rays. The same patient is said to have also received a heavy overdose of anesthetic.
In another case, he performed a root canal on healthy teeth, completely without anesthesia.
