Minister of Justice Gunnar Strömmer (M) announces this at a press conference at the Sis home in Södertälje where a 17-year-old sat before he was released in a dramatic action last week.
Strömmer has today met Si’s director general Elisabet Åbjörnsson Hollmark together with social services minister Camilla Waltersson Grönvall (M). This against the background of the two exemptions that have taken place recently.
The government also tasks the authorities with developing a structure for cooperation with other actors regarding the work with young people who are at risk of being drawn into organized crime. The assignment must be reported in September.
