The battered cow was found in the meadow near the farm on Leusbroekerweg. “My father found him in the field on Saturday morning,” says owner Arie Westeneng. “We had a few little ones walking in the field there. They walked around freely because they were still too young to do anything with them. The animal was badly damaged, which was quite a shock.”
