You will have less success on dating apps if you

Finding your other half is often complicated. And it can be even more difficult depending on the brand of your phone, according to recent studies…

Many choose a phone for its design or performance, but few of us take into consideration its role in seduction. However, depending on whether you have an Apple or a Samsung, the chances of concluding with your partner are different.

According to a recent study conducted in the United States, the success of dating depends on the brand of your phone. If certain models can benefit you, others on the contrary will harm you and make you lose all or part of your charm. See if you lean on the right side of the scale.

The survey, which was carried out by “All About Cookies”, an information website covering cookies, online privacy and digital security, identified a phone brand that could derail your attempts at seduction . According to the opinions of 1000 participants, it seems that Android phones will harm your charisma and make you lose your presence. Apple users, on the other hand, would enjoy a certain prestige and make dating easier.

Still according to the survey, 22% of iPhone users admit to despising those who do not send SMS via iMessage (Apple’s messaging platform). The influence of the bitten apple brand is especially present among men: on Tinder, 31% of them reject profiles from an Android.

For its part, the comparison site “CompareMyMobile”, which carried out a similar study, drew up a comparison between the different brands of smartphones. Apple is still very clearly the winner, while Android phones are in the red, like Huawei, Sony and Google.

If the iPhone makes you more attractive, other high-tech gadgets like the Apple Watch and AirPods are likely to help you gain even more points on the path to seduction. Figures that could perhaps call into question your next phone purchase…

Note that the “All About Cookie” survey was carried out in the United States where the issues surrounding ownership of an iPhone or an Android device are much more crucial than in France. In Uncle Sam’s country, it is generally frowned upon not to have iMessage and this regularly leads to entire campaigns of harassment in schools and higher education.
