MeinMMO wanted to know from you which character from Harry Potter is your favorite. Now we’ll tell you the results. Who made it to the winner’s podium?
What kind of survey was that? The poll was about choosing your favorite Harry Potter character. The choice was huge because there are so many unique and unforgettable characters that we have grown fond of.
You could therefore choose up to three characters that you particularly like. Since then there have been a total of 2,207 votes, with 47 different characters to choose from. In the comments you could name other characters that weren’t listed.

The most popular Harry Potter characters in the MeinMMO community
Here you can see which characters made it to places 10-4:
Hagrid, Hedwig, Ron and Dumbledore narrowly missed out on the top 10. It was a neck-and-neck race between Sirius and Minerva, but Minerva was able to secure 4th place. Of course, Dobby couldn’t be missed either. The good-natured house elf is also very popular with you.
Four of you voted for Dudley Dursley, and one even voted for the traitor Peter Pettigrew. And then there are the two who actually voiced Dolores Umbridge – shame on them! The Dolores Umbridge actress calls herself a damn monster.
In total, all 47 characters that were available for selection received at least one vote – with the exception of Rita Skeeter.
But now to the first three places in the MeinMMO community ranking, which we will introduce to you in more detail.
3rd place: Luna Lovegood
You voted Luna Lovegood into third place and she more than deserved it. She is truly unique. She is often ridiculed in Harry Potter for her strange behavior, be it because of her theories about magical creatures like Nargle, but she doesn’t care. She may be an outsider, but she always remains true to herself and eventually finds true friends.
Her quirky, unmistakable nature and, above all, her courageous and strong character make her so lovable. It reminds you that it’s okay to be different. All of this and much more makes her a character that you simply have to take to your heart. Who wouldn’t like to have a Luna by their side?
2nd place: Severus Snape
Severus Snape comes in 2nd place! He is without a doubt one of the most complex characters in Harry Potter. At first he seems like the grim teacher and typical villain that everyone fears: darkly dressed, stern expression and an unfair dislike of Harry.
But there is much more behind it.
Snape was in love with Lily Evans (later Potter) as a child. His undying love for Lily Potter and his loyalty to Dumbledore show his true side. He makes difficult decisions and makes many sacrifices to do the right thing. As a double agent, he is willing to risk his own life to thwart Voldemort’s plans. Snape is the unsung hero of the story, without whom many things would not have been possible.
The transformation from a seemingly shady antagonist to a hero is one of the best turning points. Harry honors him by naming his son after him and Dumbledore: Albus Severus Potter.
1st place: Hermione Granger
Hermione Granger makes it to the winner’s podium! She is the most popular Harry Potter character in the MeinMMO community.
Hermione is simply the ultimate all-rounder: extremely smart, brave and always ready to fight for her friends. She is the wizarding world’s version of a real power woman – whether it’s saving Harry and Ron from a mess or reciting the next crucial spell.
Hermione is the one who keeps her nerve when everyone else loses their head. Without them, Ron and Harry would probably have been lost somewhere long ago. So it’s no wonder you voted her number 1.
