The popular presenter Jenny Stromstedt is not only seen in the box in Nyhetsmorgon on TV4, she also runs the podcast Röda vita rosen together with the colleague and the gardener Victoria Skoglund.
The podcast mostly talks about gardening, but the conversations also slip into other topics. In the episode “So a big lie?” says Jenny Strömstedt that she visited Ikea – and she is not satisfied.

Jenny Strömstedt: “Terrible”
The presenter visited the department store to buy cushion covers to match her newly purchased bedspread, but it went wrong and Ikea is to blame for it.
– I’ll stop by Ikea and see if they have any of those. But I’m always a little too quick. This is going to be good, it’s almost right, she says and continues:
– So I bought two pillowcases, and they were really ugly when I got home.
“You shouldn’t go to Ikea”
The failed purchase leads to Jenny Strömstedt questioning her decision to even go to the furniture giant.
– You shouldn’t go to Ikea. Neither the economy nor the climate needs me to buy two small bread baskets as well or what I bought more for anything, says the presenter and continues:
– SEK 1,300 later, just what am I doing?
