You should NOT buy these products on mid-day sales: “Have ice in your stomach”

You should NOT buy these products on mid day sales Have

Mid-day sales can make most people want to buy, and of course you’ll be happy when you find something you really want. But there are some products that unfortunately are rarely found. Isabella Ahmadiconsumer expert at Prisjakt, tells News24 about average discounts mid-day sale.

Products that you should not buy on mid-day sales

Product categories that have a lower average discount:

– Recently released models and products are generally not reduced in price as much as older ones. To make real decisions, you can look at the prices of products that have already been on the market for a while. If you want the latest mobile phone, you shouldn’t expect a high discount, says Isabella Ahmadi to Nyheter24.

Watch out for fake sales

Something to watch out for is fake sales. Then stores raise the price for a while before the sale in order to be able to display a higher discount afterwards. To stop this, last year the “real law” was introduced, which means that companies must indicate the lowest price for the last 30 days.

– The best thing you can do as a consumer is to check the price history of an independent price comparison service. Feel free to look at the price further back in time than 30 days, to see how it has developed and how much and how often the product is discounted. Then you will find out if the current price is high, at a normal level, or if you have the opportunity to make a real bargain.

A better sale may come in January

Did you not get what you wanted for Christmas? To find what you want, it may be smarter to wait until the January sale instead of the mid-day sale.

– If you are not satisfied with the discount during the intervening days, you can keep ice in your stomach and wait until January and see if the prices fall further. But then there is the risk that the product has sold out, or that the sale has ended.
