You risk being fired – walked around in just your underpants at work

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

An employee at the Swedish Tax Agency has been walking around the office in just his underpants and is now at risk of being fired. It has started a discussion about what you can actually wear at work.

– It is high time for the style police to pull out and roar away, says Oscar Arrsjö, fashion expert, in Efter fem.

“Can be prosecuted”

But he points out that cases like this can also become cases for the real police:

– If you run around the workplace in your underpants, you risk being prosecuted for outrageous behavior or, in the worst case, sexual harassment.

The style changed during the pandemic

He also notes that the dress code has changed since working from home during the pandemic. Pajama-like comfortable clothes have become fashionable.

– It has become a more casual dress. But the limit is at underwear, says Oscar Arrsjö.
