Various diet programs are used to lose weight. Some of these diets provide very effective and healthy results, while others pose a risk to health. Experts state that you should also use fat in your diets. Stating that 10-15 hazelnuts, raw almonds or 5-6 walnuts to be consumed in a day can meet the body’s fat needs, Dr. Instructor Member Ayşe Huri Özkarabulut emphasized that fat consumption is a must in diets for weight loss.
WE NEED OIL TO USE VITAMINS
Fat consumption, which is in a very important position in the diet, causes question marks in the minds of dieters. Dr. Instructor Member Ayşe Huri Özkarabulut said, “In order to take fat-soluble vitamins into our body, we need to consume a little bit of fat. As an alternative to vegetable oils, we can increase fish consumption and meet some of our oil needs with oil seeds. At the same time, the body’s fat needs can be met with 10-15 hazelnuts, raw almonds or 5-6 walnuts that we will consume daily.
“HERBAL OILS KEEP CHOLESTEROL UNDER CONTROL”
Emphasizing that oils, which are very valuable in terms of omega, such as olive oil, sunflower oil, soybean and corn oil, must be taken from outside. Instructor Member Ayşe Huri Özkarabulut said, “If you are not vegan, you can get saturated fat from animal foods and avoid extra solid fat consumption. However, omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, which we call unsaturated fat, keep cholesterol under control, while vegetable oils such as sunflower oil also have a cholesterol-lowering effect. “Therefore, these types of oil must be taken from outside in a balanced way. In daily life, healthy oil intake can be achieved by putting walnuts in salads instead of oil, or by consuming 10-15 olives for breakfast.”
EXCESS FAT INCREASE THE RISK OF CANCER
Özkarabulut also said that excess fat consumption causes cholesterol accumulation in the vein walls and narrowing of the veins by increasing the cholesterol level. At the same time, studies have found a relationship between breast cancer and fat consumption. Consumption of too much fried oil also increases the risk of developing cancer (stomach). Özkarabulut concluded his words by saying, “Taking 10-25 percent of polyunsaturated fats as omega-3s is the recommended amount for preventing heart diseases, reducing the risk of cancer and a healthy diet.”
