You may soon no longer have access to this streaming

Some users will automatically lose their access to this popular streaming platform in the coming months. We explain to you who is concerned.

It is not always easy to navigate the abundant landscape of streaming platforms available in France. First, because there are several new sites that have appeared in recent years, Max, June 11, being the most recent addition. But also because subscription offers and conditions change regularly depending on market developments.

This is why some French users have chosen simplicity: by subscribing to certain Canal+ offers, it is possible to have access to (almost) all streaming platforms at a more advantageous price than in s subscribing to each of them. With the Ciné Séries offer at 29.99 euros per month and the Canal+ Friends & Family offer at 64.99 euros per month, it is possible to have access to several streaming platforms: MyCanal therefore, but also Netflix, Disney+ , Max, Paramount+, Apple TV+ and OCS. But not for long.

Disney+ will soon no longer be included in these two offers. Due to the addition of the Max streaming platform, access to Mickey’s streaming platform is now only accessible with ads that interrupt viewing. And this will only last a few months: in an email sent by Canal+ to its subscribers on June 13, it is specified that the arrival of Max “is accompanied by the end of the inclusion of Disney+ in your offer […] from January 1, 2025.

If you are a subscriber to Canal+ Ciné Séries or Canal+ Friends & Family, from next year, you will no longer have access to Disney+. But then, how to do it? You will need to take out a subscription directly on Mickey’s streaming platform if you wish to continue viewing content from Disney, Marvel, Star Wars or 20th century Fox. Remember that at this date there are three distinct subscriptions to Disney+: the first with advertisements at 5.99 euros per month, the second with only two simultaneous screens at 8.99 euros per month, and the premium subscription at 11.99 euros per month.
