It was the jury’s night and we in the jury spoke clearly: Our ranking had Charlotte Kalla at the bottom and Renaida Braun as second. You defied the jury’s judgments and chose with your hearts. You kicked Renaida out of the competition, not because she danced badly, but simply because you favored a pregnant skiing legend. Having said that, Charlotte has developed over the past few weeks and in the coming week I hope she respects the support you give her and works to further develop herself into a worthy finalist. This means that she must now take the dramatic side she has developed and the liberated personality that she has found the key to and start dancing in a way that is more than standing with your feet stuck in one place and waving your arms like a windmill. Otherwise, she risks being completely outclassed by Hampus Hedström, who in yesterday’s semi-final danced a number that would have won any other Let’s Dance season. From prancing boy to expressive dancer Hampus has systematically developed from being a prancing boy who moved his limbs like boiled spaghetti to become a resilient, expressive dancer with an understanding of every little thing he does with his body and interpreting the music. If he succeeds in developing as I think he will next week, I can say with my hand on my heart that there is a chance that he will become one of the legends we had in Let’s Dance together with Anton Hysén, Måns Zelmerlöv, Kristin Kaspersen and Benjamin Ingrosso. Now both of these celebrities have reached the final sprint of their training and competition season. They now have six days to prepare three different dances that must be at the highest level of dance quality possible and show why you have thrown out everyone else to keep these two. Now, I want to tell you that when these two step into the box next week, it’s incredibly important that you give a damn about voting from your heart and making sure that the right person wins.
