It is Open Monuments Day this weekend and that means that hundreds of historic buildings can also be visited in our province. The theme of the monument day this year is: sustainability. A current theme as many people want to insulate their home and generate their own energy. That is different with monuments. They are bound by all kinds of rules, but municipalities are increasingly trying to help monument owners.
