You can secure 3 new regional shinys for the Sinnoh tour in Pokémon GO

The big Sinnoh tour is running in Pokémon GO this weekend, where you can meet regional monsters again. Three of them can even be caught right now. We have summarized what they are and how you can get them in the next few days here on MeinMMO.

What kind of Pokémon are these? In Pokémon GO there are a number of monsters that can only be caught in certain regions. Outside of special events, you can only get these if you travel to the relevant region and catch it there or have a trainer friend trade one for you.

On the occasion of the upcoming Sinnoh tour, you can once again meet a total of 6 regional Pokémon worldwide, all of which can be caught as shiny with a bit of luck. But three of them can already be grabbed. Below we’ll show you everything you need to know about the regional monsters of the Sinnoh tour.

So now you get Pachirisu, Plaudagei and Venuflibis

Which monsters can already be caught? While Plaudagei is usually only found in the southern hemisphere, Venuflibis in the southeast of the USA and Pachirisu in Alaska, Canada and northeast Russia, the three were in a particularly hurry and can already be found in the game worldwide.

This is how they hide behind the event ticket The Road to Sinnoh: Hatching, which you can purchase for 5.99 euros in the in-game shop. In order to catch the three monsters, you then have to solve the associated temporary research. To do this, a total of 6 eggs must be hatched.

In addition to 2 encounters with the regional Pokémon, you will also receive 4,000 stardust, a super incubator and a Pikachu mask.

Are the monsters available as shiny? Yes, all three monsters can already be caught in their dazzling form with a bit of luck, as the first trainers have already confirmed on Reddit. The user noobwowo shows the encounters with Shiny-Plaudagei and Shiny-Pachirisu in his post.

Does the ticket have any other advantages? Yes, anyone who buys the ticket can not only benefit from the limited research and the associated Pokémon encounters, but will also receive the following bonuses for hatching eggs in the next few days:

  • double XP when hatching
  • double stardust upon hatching
  • double candies upon hatching
  • By the way: In preparation for the GO Tour, there is further research on the current path to Sinnoh events that brings you encounters with legendary monsters. If you want to have both tickets, you should buy them as a bundle in the Pokémon GO web shop to save some money. They are currently offered there for 11.99 euros, but an incubator is also included.

All regional Pokémon for the GO Tour

You can find these 6 regional monsters: The big Sinnoh tour will run on February 24th and 25th, 2024, in which the regional Pokémon will also play a role. So if you don’t want to buy a ticket, you can come across the following copies at the weekend, all of which will be available as shiny:

  • Schalellos (Eastern Sea)
  • Schalellos (Western Sea)
  • Pantimimi
  • Pachirisu
  • Plaudagei
  • Venuflibis
  • Where can you get them for the GO Tour? During the GO Tour, the regional Pokémon will be available worldwide regardless of a ticket purchase. This is how you can find the two forms of Schalellos during the Busy Promenade habitat in the wild. Instead, you can find Pachirisu, Plaudagei and Veuflibis in the 10 km eggs on both days. Pantimimi, on the other hand, hatches from 2 km eggs.

Which of the regional monsters are most worthwhile? None of the regional Pokémon in the Sinnoh Tour are particularly strong. They are all primarily for collecting. Due to their shiny debut, Pachirisu, Plaudagei and Venuflibis are particularly interesting. Sachlellos (Eastern Sea) and Pantimimi are native to our region, which is why they are less interesting for players in Europe.

What about Selfe, Vesprit and Tobutz? According to current information, the three missing regional monsters from the Sinnoh region, Selfe, Vesprit and Tobutz, do not play a role in the Sinnoh tour. However, you can find them in the Level 5 raids in their respective regions from February 21st to February 22nd. So you have to be invited to the corresponding long-distance raids for Selfe and Tobutz. With a bit of luck you might even get a Shiny.

Which of these Pokémon is your favorite? Will you secure the regional monsters through research now? Or do you wait for the Sinnoh tour and then hatch diligently? Feel free to write it to us here on MeinMMO in the comments.

If you can’t get enough of the research in Pokémon GO, you can now get the new masterpiece research Glimmer of Gratitude, which brings you Shiny-Shaymin.
