You can play Helldivers 2 on PS5 “for free” if you have spent €1,000 in the last 1.5 years

If you don’t already own Helldivers 2 despite its success, you can play it for free now – but only if you’ve spent €1,000 in 18 months.

How can you play Helldivers 2 for free now? Helldivers 2 is now included as a reward in the PlayStation Stars rewards catalog – the loyalty program for PS4 and PS5.

All PlayStation Stars members have the opportunity to collect loyalty points, which can then be spent in the PlayStation app rewards catalog.

Helldivers 2 is available in the PlayStation Stars rewards catalog and can be added to your game library in exchange for 10,000 points.

How do you get these points? You can get the points for the rewards catalog in two different ways:

  • You can complete so-called campaigns and thereby win points. Campaigns consist of a series of objectives that you must complete. Goals include exploring game areas, playing with friends, or participating in global tournaments
  • You’ll earn points for qualifying purchases in the PlayStation Store if you’re signed up for PlayStation Plus

    PS Stars: 1,000 euros for 10,000 points

    How much does 10,000 points cost? As the online magazine GamesRadar+ reports, you will receive around 10 points for a purchase in the PlayStation Store.

    PlayStation Stars has been available in Germany since October 13, 2022. This means you now have 1.5 years to collect 10,000 points.

    If you haven’t completed any PlayStation Stars campaigns, the 10,000 points you need for Helldivers 2 would have cost you around €1,000 over 18 months.
