Molotov has just announced the availability of its streaming TV service on PS4 and PS5. You can now watch your favorite shows through your game console.
It is via a press release that Molotov has just announced the launch of its live television service on the last two Sony consoles. Now you can watch your favorite shows from your game console by simply downloading the app from the PlayStation Store.
Molotov lands on PlayStation consoles
Already available on PC, in your web browser, but also on smartphones and tablets, one of the most popular streaming services for watching television is available now on PlayStation 4 and later in 2022 on PS5. In his statement, Molotov states:
“Since its launch six years ago, Molotov has never stopped innovating to adapt to new audiovisual challenges. The plurality of media on which Molotov is available (Android, Linux, iOS, web browsers, PC, Mac, iPhone/iPad, etc.) allows its users to choose their pace, but also their way of watching their favorite television programs. In this sense, the launch of Molotov on PlayStation comes to enrich the user experience, always more eager to explore content on the big screen. »
Thus, users with one of Sony’s consoles will be able to enjoy more than 200 television channels, some of which pay, as well as the free MANGO video-on-demand service. You have two options for downloading the Molotov application: on the PlayStation Store, or in the “TV and video” section of the console.
Molotov continues to advance despite his setbacks. The past two years have been turbulent for the company, which has had to switch some popular TV channels to its €3.99 per month pay plan. Last December, Molotov reached an agreement with the M6 group to continue to offer the W9, 6Ter Gulli and M6 channels.
A few months later, the channels of the TF1 group reintegrated Molotov.tv, also via the paid subscription to the streaming service.
