In Pokémon GO, the raid bosses rotate. And a fan favorite is also returning to the raids that you should grab.
Top attackers now in raids: There are new raid bosses in Pokémon GO, and the fighting steel Pokémon Lucario has slipped into the current rotation. It can now be encountered in Tier 3 raids.
Lucario has always been a popular monster among Pokémon fans, but in addition to its popularity, it also has really good stats to offer. When it comes to fighting-type Pokémon, it is one of the best attackers in Pokémon GO and is therefore a good option if you fight in arenas or raids.
The special thing: You actually only get Lucario very rarely in Pokémon GO. The best option is usually actually to hatch eggs that can hatch into the baby form Riolu. But here you need luck for this monster to hatch from the eggs. You also need candies to develop.
Now you can easily challenge it directly in tier 3 raids. So you don’t have to rely on luck at the moment if you want to catch it. It’s a good candidate for the daily free raid pass because Lucario can also be defeated solo.
Lucario in the level 3 raids – Shiny, counterattack for the raid
Can Lucario be Shiny? Yes, there is a chance of getting a Shiny Lucario in raids. However, you need a lot of luck for this.
How do I defeat Lucario? Lucario is a Fighting and Steel type. It therefore has a particular weakness against fighting, ground and fire attacks.
Particularly strong counterattacks against Lucario include Groudon and its Crypto and especially Proto forms. Otherwise it is best to use:
Basically, with a reasonable raid team of these types you should generally have good chances and you don’t necessarily need the absolute top counterattacks.
What else is there in raids? In the difficult raids you will now meet monsters like Registeel and Mega-Stollos. Registeel in particular is a great monster if you like fighting in the PvP league. So that’s worth it too.
Otherwise, you will now meet monsters like Magneton, Alola-Knogga, Bronzel or Tanhel in the level 1 raids. Tanhel is also a strong attacker if you evolve it into Metagross.
