In Helldivers 2 you are ordered to defend the attack of the robots. This is perfect if you just want to level up quickly.
What kind of event is this? A time-limited event is currently running in Helldivers 2 in which the robots attack human planets and disrupt peace and democracy. Your job as Helldivers is to defend these planets during the event.
The event runs until February 29, 2024. During this time, all Helldivers are under orders to win at least 8 defense campaigns against the robots.
For example, you can currently defend the planet Mantes in the Xzar sector. However, which planet is attacked in which sector also changes regularly within the remaining days of the robot attack.

Level up quickly by flattening robots
How can you level faster with the event? If you click on a planet under attack by robots, you will select one of the “Defend Planet” operations there.
Be sure to start an operation that includes the mission “Take Out Robot Forces.” Ideally, you’ll even find an operation in which two out of three missions require the elimination of robot forces.
Within this mission you only have to eliminate 150 robots. These are dropped off in ships near you and storm your position. You must defend yourself until the objective is completed. You have 10 minutes to complete the entire mission. However, you want to be faster to maximize your XP yield.
XP rain within 5 minutes
How much XP does the mission give? Depending on the difficulty level and your speed, you can earn up to 1,000 XP with the mission within 5 minutes. However, it is important that you complete the mission as quickly as possible and ideally cooperatively with four players.
If you want to get 1,000 XP for completing the mission, you have to complete it on difficulty levels eight or nine and should take a maximum of 5 minutes to eliminate the 150 robots with your squad of four.
As a test, MeinMMO editor Dariusz Müller completed the mission with random players on the “hard” difficulty level (level 5) in just under 4.5 minutes and received 422 XP for it.
If you play a large, time-consuming mission for which you have 40 minutes and then possibly even complete all the side objectives, you will often get between 300 and 500 XP on a similar level of difficulty.
Guns in battle for XP
How do you complete the mission fastest? During the mission, the attacking robots are dropped off at fixed points by a drop ship before reaching your position on foot.
As the YouTuber “AvuKamu” shows in a video, it is possible to destroy these ships before the robots are deployed. For this purpose, it is best for the entire squad to take three guns with them, each of which is placed at the drop points.
