You can imagine that the ski stars’ upload is a lot about recovery, tactics and technical details.
But Frida Karlsson’s upload is about something completely different – and which causes Petter Northug to react.
– I had thought about it both once and twice, says the Norwegian.
Frida Karlsson convinced and drove home the victory in Wednesday’s pursuit start in the Tour de Ski. The day before, she had already managed to win the first competition in German Oberstdorf. Then you spontaneously think that the Swedish star probably took it quite easy on Tuesday evening to be ready for the competition the following day.
Frida’s “upload”
But it wasn’t quite how it looked, when Karlsson showed off a slightly different way of “winding down” between competitions. What did she do? Cut the hair of his national team colleagues.
– I love cutting, then I forget everything that has to do with skiing. It’s a wonderful relaxation, says Frida Karlsson to Norwegian TV2.
The article continues after the picture.
She continues:
– It doesn’t happen every day. But I usually get the urge to cut sometimes. When we are gathered after having dinner, I usually just point to someone and say “just come”.

Northug’s sawing
The Norwegian skiing icon Peter Northug has seen the pictures of when Frida Karlsson restyles her colleagues, and he is honestly not very impressed.
– You can greet Frida and say that after seeing the pictures of her “victims”, I probably thought twice before letting her cut my hair, says Northug.
– Is it because it’s free that the Swedes take the chance? At home, we call this a “pubic cut”.
The article continues after the picture.
However, Karlsson is not slow to counter back on Northug’s sawing.
– Tell him that he can get an appointment later in the week, and that it’s fine to pay by card!
